Welcome toValley's End Charolais

Our farm is located in central Saskatchewan on the south east side of Lake Diefenbaker. Valley’s End encompasses over fifty-six quarter sections of pasture and grain land. Our cattle herd consists of 100 purebred Charolais and 145 commercial Red Angus-Simmental cows that are bred to Charolais bulls. On our cropland, we grow cereals, oil seeds, pulses and speciality crops.

Over the last several decades we have been breeding cattle that offer calving ease, structural soundness and performance to produce high quality offspring. The herd bulls we select complement our females and provide high performing calves that would be a great addition to any cattle operation. We are very passionate about the future of the Charolais breed. Visitors are always welcome, please feel free to stop by.

HEMINGFORD NEXT DIRECTION

We are excited to have sold exclusive Australian semen rights for Next Direction to Palgrove Charolais, the largest Charolais Stud in Australia.
Next Direction semen has also reached Canada, going into well respected herd, Valleys End Charolais, Saskatchewen, owned by the Oram Family.
Next Direction is a rising four year old powerhouse polled sire, who is stamping his mark here at Hemingford, leaving consistent thick, easy doing, extremely quiet progeny.
We are looking forward to having some of his first sons in this year’s sale in June.
Limited semen packages will be available in Canada 2022.

Sunday Cow Day!
Half the Charolais herd including the bred heifers were grazing at Ridge Creek Farms since weaning. Beautiful mild Autumn day to move our leading ladies home. Impressed with the good condition they are in! Thanks Kirsten Oram & @daneoram
